It is an offshoot of Centre for Studies on Science, and serves to impart knowledge to clients from various interest groups in such domains which our modern generation has been rather shunned to in the name of carrier, profession and empowerment etc. It has created great imbalance in individuals’ life and personality resulting in a and has crumbled the society as a whole. The knowledge that Danishgah aims to introduce stresses on three dimensions. First is related to of Islamic civilization and growth of science and technology in the medieval Islamic period. Second focuses on the intellectual crises in the western thoughts, its historical genesis and its impact on individual and society of the west. And the third is related to intellectual requirements of the madarsa graduates vis-a-vis modern knowledge and wisdom. Titled us Diploma in Islamic science and civilization (DISC), Diploma in Intellectual Studies (DIS) and Diploma in Foundation Studies for Madarsa Graduates (DFSMG) all these courses have been designed and prepared by a team of experts headed by Dr. M. Zaki Kirmani, the Director of Danishgah. Based on Lecture, research article and authentic publication in English urdu language the lesson of each courses have been prepared keeping in view the engagement and busy schedule of the students. Every course is supported by the basic source on which the prepared lessons are generally based.

About is Centre for Studies on Science

The Centre for Studies on Science (CSOS) was founded in 1983 by M.Zaki Kirmani a Ph.D from IIT, Delhi with the cooperation and coordination of some young scientists who were actively associated with the scientific research and intellectual activities in various parts of India. Aligarh being prominent as an educational habitat of many Indians was chosen as the venue of the newly founded institution. It was registered in 1987 with Kirmani as its founder chairman.
